Remembering Randy Rhoads... 25 Years Ago... On 3.19.07 : 25 Years Ago, We all lost someone that was instrumental to most of us, in many different ways. I have my two good, long-time friends, Fred and Michael, to thank, for introducing myself to Rock music in general, at the age of 13. Growing up in a very sheltered Christian home, I wouldn't have been introduced to the music that Fred and Michael would play me/that I now have a passion for today, if it wasn't for them, playing their albums and cassettes for me, after we got out of our weekly Church services. So, I thank you both, for giving Jeff Findley the opportunity to appreciate what plays such a huge part of my life, MUSIC!

I also have my friend, Neil Zlozower , to thank as well. Not only did Randy's talent intrigue me, but the photographs that I viewed during that period of time of Randy, had inspired me, to want to be able to take live shots of musicians, like Randy, simply by viewing Zloz's talent on film. So, thank you Zloz, again, for sharing your talent with The World, you made an impression on me, WAY before we became friends! As most of you know, my two passions are MUSIC and Rock Photography. So, It was my pleasure, to be able to document the 25TH Anniversary of Randy's unfortunate passing. I wish I could have been by Zloz's side back in the early 80's, taking pictures and experiencing Randy's talent live back then, but I am also fortunate enough to be able to share the pictures below, with those that couldn't make it, on 3.19.07.

It was again, my pleasure to be able to pass along my best regards to the Rhoads family, Lori Hollen and Randy's friends. Most of us also, were given the opportunity, to be interviewed for the Official Documentary that is being made on the life and death of Randy. I was humbled and honored at the opportunity to contribute my personal feelings and experiences in regards to Randy. We ALL were.

My continued thanks, go out to Lori Hollen, The ENTIRE Rhoads family and the many friends, that I have met through the mutual respect that we have for Randy's talent, and how he has affected us all. Please enjoy the pictures if you were there, and I hope that I was able to document that special day well enough, for those of you that couldn't make it!

Thanks Again!

Keep in Touch!

And now, a quote from Mr. EVH, regarding Randy Rhoads.

"I have an immense amount of respect for what he did. Some people say I may have had an influence on his playing, but I never was able to ask him that. If it's true, I'm very honored, because I thought he was very, very good. He was also very dedicated to his playing. I think that showed in his work." -- Edward Van Halen

Randy Rhoads... His Memorial Service... 3.19.06 : It was my pleasure... to have met Randy's long-time friends and family. It was great to have been able to show our support to everyone that attended Randy's Memorial on 3.19.06... especially to meet and visit with Randy's Mom. Delores remids me a lot of my own Grandma... so of course... I felt an instant bond.

For those of you that are visiting this album for the first time... please check back this week (3.19.07). I will be documenting... the 25TH Anniversary of Randy's Memorial... on 3.19.07... so please check back soon... to view and enjoy the pictures from Randy's service... 25 years... after his unfortunate plane crash.
