HEAVEN AND HELL... VERIZON WIRELESS... 10.6.07 : On 10.6.07, HEAVEN AND HELL, the band featuring BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, vocalist Ronnie James Dio and drummer Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO) played their final show of the band's U.S. tour. ALICE COOPER and QUEENSRYCHE joined in the evenings incredible night of music, at the Verizon Wireless in Irvine, California.

Before the encore, Indie 103.1's Full Metal Jackie, presented the band with plaques on stage to honor their U.S. sales in excess of 50,000 copies of the group's "Live at Radio City Music Hall" DVD.

Vocalist Ronnie James Dio, thanked the fans for their support, and then dedicated their encore song ("Neon Knights")... to veteran KNAC DJ Tawn Mastrey. Tawn past away this past week, from liver failure, brought on by hepatitis C. I thought it was extremely cool... for Ronnie to say what he did. It was a great moment... and a great show!
